Glencoe hosted the OCI Invitational on Saturday where five winter percussion groups -- Beaverton, Glencoe, Southridge, Liberty and Rex-Putnam -- performed.

At the event, Glencoe performed "Pulse: A Heart's Journey" which illustrates the experiences of a heart, such as childhood and love, from birth to death.

Seniors Derek Bueffel, Ben Grimshaw, and Nick Korynta are members of the Oregon Crusaders Indoor Percussion, a world-ranked ensemble, which will be traveling to Dayton, Ohio for the WGI World Championships from April 9-12.
